Glenmore Cricket Club - Code of Conduct

CODE OF CONDUCT

The following Code of Conduct is to be observed by all players

1.       This Code of Conduct applies to all matches played by Glenmore Cricket Club

2.       Players will observe the highest standards of etiquette, sportsmanship, behaviour and dress both on and off the field, in keeping with the dignity and best traditions of the game.

3.       Foul and/or abusive language on or off the field is unacceptable

4.       Intimidation, aggressive behaviour and/or deliberate distraction of opponents by words or actions are unacceptable.

5.       Dissent at umpiring decisions is unacceptable.

6.       Racially abusive comments and actions against fellow players, opponents, officials, members, and supporters are prohibited.

7.     Players must not enter the field of play unless they are batting, fielding or have the express permission of the umpires. 

7.       Glenmore Cricket Club expects all Captains to exercise control over their teams at all times in accordance with the spirit and laws of the game.

Team captains are encouraged to report any breaches of this Code of Conduct to the Club Executive, who will then assess each case.
